  • Is Five Star Automotive Detailing Certified to Install Ceramic Coatings?

    Yes. Five Star Automotive Detailing is a certified master installer for SPS Graphene and IGL Coatings. Both programs require in-person training and is not eligible for purchase without those on-hand experience.

  • How do I maintain a ceramic coating?

    Some items to consider when maintaining a vehicle that has had ceramic coating detail work done to it include avoiding public car washes, never washing the vehicle in direct sunlight, and making sure you have an organized workspace to avoid cross-contamination.

  • Can I put ceramic coating on after paint correction?

    You can, though be sure that your vehicle’s paintwork has been completely corrected prior to adding a ceramic coating, as a ceramic coating is semi-permanent and acts as a shield to abrasions, making any additional corrections thereafter more difficult.

  • Can you add ceramic coatings on top of a clear bra?

    You can put a ceramic coating over a clear bra. Not only does this combination make the vehicle easier to clean, it also increases the gloss and shine of the finish by being more hydrophobic.

  • How long does a ceramic coating last?
